Case studies

We arranged flights for Mr A, a Polish resident injured in a road traffic accident to travel from his native Poland to England to undergo his medical examination. Mr A was from a small village and had no experience of air travel. Not only did we book the flights, but we arranged for Mr A to be met at the airport by our interpreter who then chaperoned him to the examination and back to the airport. We are very pleased to say that the case concluded successfully.

With the B family, who suffered injury whilst on holiday in England, we had the opposite problem. Flying the whole family to the UK for a medical examination would have been prohibitively expensive. An option was to arrange examinations with a local expert, but the quality could not be guaranteed, nor could compliance with the requirements of CPR 35. In the circumstances, we arranged for the UK based expert to fly to Poland where he undertook examinations of the whole family before returning to complete his reports. Once more otherwise problematic cases settled without much fuss.
